Eagle Scrimshaw

This ulu features a soaring eagle. The bald eagle is the largest resident bird in the state of Alaska. Bald eagles are more abundant in Alaska than anywhere else in the United States. They are recognized as scavengers and predators but are admired for their beauty.

About the Scrimshander (artist): Donna Wilcox has always been interested in art, and she got her first easel in 3rd grade. She has been doing scrimshaw since 1976. Her works have been featured in several museums, and sold throughout the United States and Alaska
