September

The birthstone for September is the Sapphire. The word “sapphire” comes from the Greek word sappheiros meaning “blue stone”. The Sapphire is one of the most popular colored stones. It has been associated with royalty and romance and symbolizes fidelity and the soul. What most people don’t realize is that sapphires are not only blue, they come in a variety of rainbow colors (white included).
